Digital Marketing Specialist

$60,000-$80,000

In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing marketing campaigns that promote client brands and their products. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing brand awareness within the digital space as well as driving website traffic and acquiring leads. The primary goal of this role is to connect local service providers with high-intent customers by dominating local search results and managing high-conversion paid media campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign Management: Design, build, and maintain social media presence across all digital channels.
  • SEO & SEM: Plan and execute all web, SEO/SEM, database marketing, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns.
  • Content Strategy: Collaborate with internal teams to create high-quality content for web pages, blogs, and social media platforms.
  • Performance Tracking: Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Optimization: Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on those insights.
  • Market Research: Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven working experience in digital marketing, particularly in SEO, SEM, marketing database, email, and social media.
  • Technical Proficiency: Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.
  • Tools: Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends).
  • Advertising Platforms: Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords and Facebook Ads campaigns.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for creating compelling copy and collaborating with team members.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, social media, communications, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
